Depending on when you decide to come to Sri Lanka, activities may change depending on the season. But fear not because there are always plenty of activities for you do experience during your stay! Most safaris are open to the public throughout the year, and you can still experience local culture and find archaeological treasures no matter when you come visit.
December to March is high-season to see the birds migrating in Bundala National park, and waters are calmest from November to April, but if you’re coming from April to July, you can see the sea turtles laying their eggs, and catch the Kataragama parade in August. There’s always something to see no matter when you decide to come. Take a look for yourself!
